Sunday 20th October - Roma and AGM - Roma Butter Factory - Arrive at 10.45 am. General meeting will commence at 11 am Lunch Break 12.15pm to 1 pm AGM to commence approx. 1 pm. Please bring a plate to share for lunch. Tea and coffee will be supplied. All current office bearers are encouraged to prepare a report for the AGM. All members are asked to consider what role they make be able to take on to ensure the club continues to run smoothly.

Sunday 17th November - Yuleba Memorial Hall - 24 Garden Street Yuleba - Arrive at 9.15 am - BYO Morning Tea. Club will supply tea and coffee. Meeting will commence at 10 am. BYO lunch to eat at the conclusion of the meeting or return home for lunch. (Yuleba Hotel- Motel is currently not opening until 4 pm.)
Sunday 15th December - Roma - Roma Community Men's Shed - Arrive 3.45 pm - Meeting will commence at 4 pm. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Men's Shed will provide a Sausage Sizzle for $10 per head (Bread Rolls, Sausages, Onions, Bacon and Eggs). Club will supply tea/coffee and ice cream cones. RSVP required. Following this will be our Christmas Lights Run. The Men's Shed members have been invited to attend after the meeting and get a lift with members who are going on the Christmas Lights Run.

Saturday - 5th October - Run to Noonga
If you are looking to be enthralled in the changing landscape, gain an insight into life in our rural communities, of life on the land & the oil & gas industry, then this drive is for you! There will be a lot of historical sites along the way. The drive includes mainly sealed with minimal good sealed gravel.
Morning tea will be served by the Calico Cottage Craft Club in Wallumbilla. Here we will be served Devonshire tea with fresh jam & cream scones at a cost of $8. Coffee is available. Please let me know if you intend to purchase morning tea as the club needs catering numbers. You can bring your own morning tea if you choose to. LUNCH: Please bring your packed lunch as the Yuleba Hotel doesn’t open until 4pm.

- Turn right onto Warrego Highway-travel east to Wallumbilla (41 Kms)
- Arrive at Wallumbilla by 9.15am check Calico Cottage’s souvenirs & history

- Depart by 10am – travelling east to Jackson (45 Kms)
- Turn north onto the Jackson-Wandoan Road
- Travel 21 kms to the Gullagimbi turnoff
- Park your vehicle in a safe area to visit the Noonga State School Hertiage site & the old Noonga cream shed
- Continue north on the Jackson-Wandoan Road
- In 1 km on the left see the Noonga Hall & Tennis Courts – the meeting place for locals, dances & community events
- Arrive at Noonga approximately 11.30am approx
- 11.30am to 12.30pm STOPPING AT NOONGA COMMUNITY GROUNDS FOR OUR PACKED LUNCH & TOILET REST
- Continue for 7.5 kms & turn left at Crossroads Road
- This road has only 7 kms unsealed but well maintained
- As you travel note Wild Dog (Dingo) Fence, on right Wooleebee Lateral Gas Pipeline (begins here & ends at the port of Gladstone)
- Continue on Crossroads Road for 21 kms
- Turn left onto Horse Creek Road
- In 4.5 kms turn left onto the Yuleba-Taroom Road & travel south for 12 kms. STOP AT BENDEMERE STATION HERTIAGE SITE ON YOUR RIGHT
- Continue to Yuleba-Taroom Road for another 11 kms. You are now at the intersection of the Warrego Highway.
- Turn right for Yuleba

"IMPROMPTU RUN" GUIDELINES FOR ROMA HISTORICAL MOTOR CLUB INC. MEMBERS
Club members may post an “impromptu run” to the Roma Historical Motor Club Facebook group, email the club ([email protected]), phone the President (0429 442 286) or Secretary (0417 197 871) or message the Roma Historical Motor Club Inc. Facebook page or the Blackall Chapter or Charleville Chapter's Facebook pages to set an “impromptu” run. This notice for an "impromptu run" must be given to the club at least 48 hours before. Other members will be advised as soon as possible the details of the run, via email, Facebook and the Club Events section on the club website, and where there is time, it will be published in the newsletter. Please note these runs should be genuine runs…not an excuse to use your vehicle for everyday use purposes. Club members are also encouraged to support club events in the first instance.
